A day on the river

Today was an amazing day on the River Lea with 23 other family members celebrating my nephew's 50th birthday. We experienced thunder, lightning, hailstones, winds, torrential rain, blue skies and sunshine all in a four hour period! I have chosen this blip as just one example of some bizarre weather conditions we experienced on the narrowboats - I have never seen clouds like these before.
