Imperial war Museum

In total contrast to yesterday the weather was appalling, we were already going to the museum but it was not an original thought.

However the WW1 exhibition was excellent, although very busy. So many personal items giving a real connection. Slightly alarming that there were things I remember grandparents having in their homes, another visit or 2 to do the museum justice I feel.

This exhibit caught my eye.
