War Party. GX1, Leitz Elmar 135mm.

Today's Blip took a lot of choosing, but I liked this one the most. I had time this morning to go down to the river at the community boathouse. They were teaching teenagers how to row the sculls. This party must have been first-timers because they were given a big, wide boat with lots of stability. Somehow, they made me think of a war party of warriors off with their spears and axes to go and collect some scalps from the next village down the river. But judging by the way those paddles are pointed every which way, the intended victims will probably have plenty of time to make good their getaway.
