Morning Beach

We rode our bikes to the beach and walked this morning. A glorious walk shared with a few who wandered out. The calm, the smell, the peace would be soon shattered as sun worshippers young and old converge on the sands. As we walked preparations were being made for the day...chairs placed, umbrellas set up, people staking their claim for the day.

After our return we met the LeBeaus for a 10 mile bike ride on the Eastern Trail, lunch at Bayleys Lobster, a swim in the pool, a bike ride to OOB, some Pier Fries and Bills Pizza, ending with a long beach walk. Quite different from this picture with thousands of people and hundreds of colorful umbrellas covering the beauty of this morning. I loved seeing them both...I wish I had remembered my camera this afternoon, though!
