The weather is so changeable at the moment. Once it's warm in the sun, but in a few minutes it's blowing gale. As Laura fell asleep in her carrier on the way from school, we picked the dog up from home and went for a little walk around the neighbourhood. Luckily it was sunny and pleasant.

Today I purchased a slow cooker. I had one 16 years ago, but then lost it and never replaced it. I remembered most dishes tasted the same. However now I have taken to making stock for my soups and thought that a large slowcooker would be perfect for the job. At least I won't have to sit at home and watch it for hours. I will try it out for cooking too, that's what Internet is for with little star ratings next to recipes. But if anybody has a tried and tested bulk recipe, please leave it in comments, I'll gladly try it out.
