Get your magnifying glasses ready.....

In keeping with my unplanned record of photographing birds in pairs, here is a pair of pelicans perched on the light poles over the freeway. You have to look carefully - I spotted the birds on my way home from work and only had my IPhone with me.

It was quite tricky to get them without getting run over.

It is a bit of a Perth icon for the pelicans to land and rest on the top of the light shades. Warning signs should say not a good idea to drive open convertibles in the outside lanes!!

Might be easier to see in large - promise to try harder tomorrow!
