Lily

A rather surprising find tucked away amongst the nettles and foxgloves and cow parsley at the stream end of the Mere which used to be something of a swamp. I know they have been trying to improve the drainage and put a few reed like plants in but I suspect this lily got in somewhat by accident. It hasn't made any difference to the blue green algae unfortunately which is making the end by the dam resemble pea soup!
