Appearances Can Be Deceptive

There was a huge black cloud sitting above the house which the sun was ignoring.
It was very busy in the Red Cross Shop this morning. It is very small and there were over 20 customers browsing at one point.
A quick recall of today's sales includes: a sequinned purse; a heart shaped wall ornament made of shabby chic bamboo; a painting by numbers set (she was bored with jigsaws); a highly multi coloured pair of female jeans (to a nice young man - fancy dress he said!) and best of all a fabulous china bedpan ( sold as an unusual container for floral display at Gillingham Show).
Still to find a new owner: a top quality, very heavy set of german taps and a large glass wasp trap!
Maybe I will shift them when I volunteer again on Thursday.
