Tapestry, Trams, Tape & Telecommunications

Today we took a trip into Edinburgh. We went to St Mary's Cathedral to see the Scottish Diaspora Tapestry which was fab. We then caught a tram up to St Andrews Square to go to the Fruitmarket Gallery. We enjoyed the Jim Lambie Exhibition - D and I were following an orange line all the way round, tho I drew the line at crawling under the benches to follow mine. After a visit to the cafe for coffee and cake we went up to the museum. A took us on an exciting explore of as many closes as he could to get us there - one was so narrow I had to put my brolly down. The museum was very busy as anticipated and D was very disappointed that his favourite bit was closed. Luckily we came across the telecommunications bit with it's telephones and on screen quizzes and the day was saved!
