Noah's Ark
Sunday, and the remnants of Hurricane Bertha are battering the UK. Thankfully, most of Central Scotland seems to have been spared the worst of the storm - some very heavy downpours and strong winds apart - but, by and large, we haven't felt the effects as much as other areas to the south and north of us.
It's a day for keeping warm and dry, indoors if possible, but I did remember that Condorrat Parish Church had a model of Noah's Ark - made by local schoolchildren a year or so ago - positioned above its entrance and it seemed an appropriate symbol for today!
