Poppies in the Moat
My meeting finished early today, so managed to get to The Tower of London, where from 5 August to 11 November 2014, 888,246 ceramic poppies are being planted to provide a visual commemoration of the First World War. Each poppy represents all the British and commonwealth fatalities. Its called Blood Swept Lands and Sea of Red, and the poppies start by flowing from the tower its self.
