Himalayan Balsam

These very pretty flowers adorn the banks of the streams around here. Unfortunately they have a tendency to overwhelm all other plants and as such they are on a list of plants to be controlled!
I love popping the seed pods as they explode quite spectacularly but maybe I shouldn't!!
