the final segment

Today we drove down to Cornwall and stopped at a beautiful bed and breakfast called St benedicts abbey in the village of Lanivet - the owner is delightful and took us round the property which dates back to the 1400s and has connections with the knights templar and William Sargent - the army major played by Michael Cain in zulu - he had decorated the prayer seat with beautiful crystals brought back from the mines of South Africa

After a quick stop we drove over to dunmere to do the final leg of the camel trail from dunmere to wendford bridge - had it almost to ourselves -beautiful track mostly running alongside the river

Back to our historic room now to look out on the old church tower which is part of the property - perfect
