Chime After Chime

We took the shuttle bus into town this morning and got out in the main shopping area. A meandering stroll down the hill towards the sea brought us to the old town of Albufeira.

Very picturesque and although filled with every kind of tourist trap shop, still very lovely to wander through. We bought a few gifts and souvenirs, including a wind chime from this amazing shop, and then headed off through the tunnel to the beach and ocean.

After a short break for refreshment, we then wandered gradually back to our hotel along the coast, past a myriad of restaurants and bars. We intend to walk back there shortly for dinner, possibly in a super-looking place on the cliffs, overlooking the beach.
