The Solan Goose

Spent a very enjoyable couple of days in North Berwick.
Spent Friday afternoon at the Museum of Flight - well worth the visit! We reluctantly left in the middle of a thunderstorm at closing time - a great few hours, particularly for the budding pilot in our company!
Then it was night out at the Spiegletent to see Geno Washington strut his stuff.

Saturday morning was spent at the North Berwick Highland Games which was really good for this pipe band lover.
Later, a lovely afternoon in good company enjoying a blustery BBQ.

A highlight of any trip to North Berwick is the inevitable mesmerising gannets diving into the sea.

I was quite pleased with this one, taken at the long end of my lens from the shore in very windy conditions.
