Mam Tor

Today we successfully reached the summit of Mam Tor. At times, I thought I might not make it. I could have benefited from the use of an oxygen mask and perhaps had a Tibetan yak to help carry my rucksack up the hill. But D and I did eventually make it to the top. We enjoyed some spectacular views of the Hope Valley and a bracing wind that kept trying to blow us off our feet. It was well worth the effort and great fun getting down again.
