Week 2: Texture Tuesday

As the day dawned very wet and quite cool (especially for August!) I didn't have any plans to leave the house to find a suitable blip for today's Texture Tuesday challenge.

So I had to go looking in back own yard. Lucky for me this beautiful sunflower had recently opened. Too bad there wasn't a bumble bee on it! To really see all the textures be to check out large.

This is as shot ...... no color enhancer was used! Besides a slight crop it is SOOC.

And I have finally caught up on my journal! Sorry for being so far behind in everything ~ commenting and posting.
