Herdwick Cabin

This was taken whilst camping (Glamping) with our closest friends. It is part of the Scales Plantation in the lake district.

The two bell tents, seperate cabin and toilet provide the ideal base for 2 couples. Being october when we visited, the air in the evening was crisp and clean with a wonderful smell of nature in the air. We had the log fuelled fired roaring inside the cabin whilst we played scrabble and drank some lovely wine we bought from the farm shop up the road. There was no phone signal at all there which made it the perfect retreat from daily life!
