Anyone for Polo?

Destination Berkshire. Another day, another driving event. This one had a grand venue, at Cliveden, Britain's only stately home hotel. For the second time in a couple of weeks, this driving day was hosted by Volkswagen, to let us get behind the wheel of the new Polo, Golf R and Golf SV.

Cliveden is magnificent, in glorious parkland and perched on a hilltop above the Thames near Maidenhead. The house famously has a rather racy past. You may know the old joke, but it still bears repeating. This place favours smoking. It's Profumo.
