Abalone shell

Amazing what you find around the house when you concentrate on seeing the possibilities. We've had this shell in our house for years - found it while on vacation one summer. The internal beauty of this once living object is fascinating. Because of blipfoto, I rediscovered the reason we brought it home in the first place.
