Klesmer Concert
A great concert to practically a full house at the Synagogue tonight.
This is where the Borderland Foundation put on many of their concerts.
Apparently when the synagogue was built, the abbot of the monastery laid the first stone. That was a long time ago. I should have read the information board more carefully, then I could tell you the date. The building was used for a variety of purposes from the German invasion onwards. It is perhaps a miracle we can listen to klesmer music there today.
It was really great music and the audience didn't want to leave.
If this isn't the shot I intended I'll change it.
