Brightwater Centre

Referendum day is looming and I am looking forward to independence, yet there are doubts.

Kyleakin boasts the Bright Water Visitor Centre. It’s near the pier and boasts of connections with Gavin Maxwell. It’s closed on Sunday and on the day I visited there was a queue of confused tourists knocking on the door.
Just down the road, the shortbread tin heaven castle of Eilean Donan was raking in the money from folk keen to spend dollars, euro’s and roubles.
