Island-Hopping, Siargao

A fun day ... a sunny day ...

We visited Naked Island (which has an original native name but the Ams called it this because, I think, the native name was difficult to pronounce), Dakó Island and Guyam Island. This was shot on Naked Island, in waist-high water. I took good care.

Actually, we were a group of 10 -- 4 beautiful girls, 2 surfing instructors (we couldn't blame them for hanging around the girls), 2 boatmen, plus hubby and me. Loads of laughter, loads of food ... lots and lots of beautiful clear sea water ... tons of sunshine ... plus several cameras of various kinds -- 2 Nikons, a Canon, a Go Pro, my Sony, plus about 6 SmartPhones. Lots of bathing; even I didn't want to leave the water. Hubby brought along snorkeling equipment and took his share of underwater shots. Together we took about 380 -- a sizeable harvest. We didn't leave the lodge till 10 a.m. so the sleep-out was great, too. The day was capped with a fab sunset which we waited for before heading back to our island.

We'd waited 4 weeks for something like this. Don't I wish retirement was around the corner ... like next month ...

Someone had brought along a remote loudspeaker, and so we had some lovely music, like this one ... ... and here's another ...
