Farewell carpet

It's taken all day to clear the dining room but this evening we finally got the first part of the horrid carpet up.
We've hated it since we moved in 8 years ago and can't wait for the new flooring to go down.
Even better was that thom threw out loads of stuff and cleared out the cupboard of junk toys. At long last all the toys now live upstairs.
