Recycled Popcorn

Yesterday we went to the cinema (Finn's first ever experience) We watched 'How to train your Dragon 2' and though it was a little loud and scary in parts I think he enjoyed it. Mummy certainly did :-) You've got to have popcorn at the cinema so we went to the desk and asked for some. They only had 'regular' or 'large' - we went for the regular.....which was bigger than Finn and £3.95! (sure they could have half filled a regular bag for a small)........anyway needless to say after chomping our way down a third of the bag which was rather polystyrene in texture we ended up bringing an awful lot home.
Being a waste not want not sort of girl tonight I melted together butter, peanut butter (crunchy of course.....is there another sort?) dark brown sugar, honey and a pinch of salt, coated the leftover popcorn and baked it in the oven...........terrible for the waistline, but very very yummy.....Think I need a padlock for the jar!
