Peacock's texture and new growth of tail

On my way to church each week I drive by a farm where we usually see several peacocks in the yard. My grandchildren love stop and watch them. Often they sit on the fence and put on quite a show.

I have taken gorgeous photos of them with their tails raised high; but today I took a photo that I really like. It shows a different side of this peacock.

I realized there is beautiful texture and contrast in their body feathers; also, the early tail feathers form an interesting pattern on their back.
