A domestic in the Tui household...

...and she said "where have you been, guess you have been out drinking with your mates again?"

...and he said "well why would I hurry home to see you!"

... and then the both flew off in different directions.

Called in to check the lambs on the way home and spotted a large number of tuis in a nearby tree, they were making so much noise. Tuis are so colourful and are real characters. I could sit and watch them for hours.

Three years ago I had the opportunity of photographing a nesting pair just below our upstairs deck and was so lucky to have a book of them published last year.

Have had a great few days staying at Raglan with fellow blipper Richard and wife Jan, sorry for the lack of comments, hopefully will catch up later.
Thought I would get today's blip up quickly as off to Camera Club committee meeting soon.
