Ice Patterns

Out walking this morning it was at least -5 degrees of frost but I guess quite a bit more as temps are taken at the airport and we are a bit inland from that.
It was a great morning even if cold, the sky all sorts of soft shades of pink and wonderful light on the trees but I was captivated by the ice on the puddles. I was busy trying to avoid it so as not to land on my nose but at the same time entranced with all the patterns. I should have been putting in a landscape but have been ensnared by the beauty of the ice.
Looks like it will be just as cold tomorrow morning so who knows what I will come up with.
