Sixpence, 6d, tanner...

Still housebound so looked for something indoors to blip.

I came across this old six penny bit my daughter dug up from our garden last year.

Like myself it was put into service in 1958, has a few dents around the edges and a little green in places. We both are also out of circulation these days....

I've got sixpence. Jolly, jolly sixpence.
I've got sixpence to last me all my life.
I've got twopence to spend and twopence to lend
And twopence to send home to my wife.
