Right priorities

This workbench is concealed in a large cupboard in the bedroom of the late Lord Nuffield (William Morris), the engineer and philanthropist who made his fortune from making Morris cars in Oxford. His home, Nuffield Place, has recently been taken over by the National Trust and is proving a very popular place to visit, with all its fittings left as they were when he died. He repaired and maintained time pieces and, as he couldn't sleep, would open this cupboard and use the time marking time.
