Much more than books....

These photos were taken at Wakefield Library and Museum today whilst I had my lunch break! The Yorkshire Woolly bikes are part of an exhibition which has been touring around Yorkshire as part of the Tour de France! There are 10 bikes scattered around the atrium, library, museum and create cafe! All have a theme. I thought they looked great but I forgot my camera today :( so iPhone blip it is.

The map is situated in the library too! It's a fabulous piece of art work. As part of the Viking theme! There's also a huge log boat in the library which is over 1000 years old!

Can you tell that my amazing friend is back from her jollies, she always fills me with all the interesting facts and educates me. I've walked past the library every day for the last couple of weeks and had no idea. Goes to show what's under your nose!

Last day at work today and it was very productive, tying up loose ends! So I can celebrate, no work for 19 days!!! I hope your Wednesday has been as good as mine xxx
