There's spools and there's spools

This morning I dropped a drawer-full of cotton spools, so spent a frustrated 10 minutes picking them all up.This afternoon in Troyes, visiting the Museum of Hosiery, I saw these 19C spools and spent an admirative 10 minutes gazing at them.
