...you should be sleeping!

...this is the sight I was greeted with tonight when I heard rumblings upstairs.

Little Miss E has had a full on day today. We abandoned the house this morning after breakfast, a wash and making up a picnic. Oh it was so nice not to be Mrs Mop leaving the house in show home standard. I didn't even make the beds! Scandal!

Eventually managed to meet up with an old work colleague, J, who I haven't seen for almost 12 years and her two gorgeous boys. We met up at Abbots Leigh woods in Bristol for an amble, hide and seek, den making and a little picnic before a quick visit back to the marina at Portishead, where they're staying temporarily. It was great to catch up and lovely to hear the lovely Scottish lilt the boys have.

Needless to say Little Miss E was asleep within 5 minutes of driving back home and Munchkin 1 was asking when can we see them again!

So Little Miss E being a tired teddy, went to bed over an hour ago....however...I heard the pitter patter of tiny feet moving from her bedroom to my bedroom. So upstairs I went and was faced with her wearing her daddy's reading glasses, perfectly poised on the end of her nose and Mr Men book! I laughed out loud...and if course took a picture to add to her bedtime antics portfolio.


Time for Bake Off with Munchkin 1. His favourite programme!
