Tan Hill Inn

Great day out today with Mrs HF and very proud of her tackling some of the hills we have done. Some of the scenery we have come across has been stunning and she has some much better photos than I have.

Had a swift half and bag of crisps at the Tan Hill Inn which is the highest pub in the UK at 1732ft above sea level. Cycled back to Reeth from the Inn and passed this on the way. So pleased that the yellow cycles from the TDF are still around for us all to enjoy.

The only downside is that, although I averaged 19+mph over the 11.5 miles, my top speed was not a PB at only 38mph.

Gutted. But the rest of the day made up for it.
