Today we had an action packed day, and visited not only the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral but also the Liverpool Cathedral, and the Chinese Quarter.

Nothing like doing the tourist trail in a day! This photograph is taken at the top of the steps of the Metropolitan Cathedral, which gives a great view over the town. Personally though, we all preferred the Liverpool Cathedral...because it was a little less pushy about money and donations. Also, the Liverpool Cathedral is huge...it is so big that it looks fake! It is just all so ornate, and huge. Very interesting though to wander around, and they have also really diversified to keep the cathedral going. It has not only a cafe, but a restaurant, and an art gallery. Well worth a visit! Actually, all of it is worth a visit...
