I opted for false when Leo asked me this question - but now I know :)

He had also read that if you drop a baseball and a tennis ball from the same height they will fall and hit the ground at the same speed. We tried it out very unscientifically by dropping a baseball v tennis ball, an apple v a lemon, a tennis ball v an egg, and a golf ball v an egg from his bedroom window to the garden. There wasn't much in it each time but one definitely hit before the other each time. Needless to say, he enjoyed the eggs the most!
