Porty People and Places

Homebound on the trusty 26 bus this evening. In the centre of this blip is the end of the £9 Billion Edinburgh Tram Set. This stop in York Place has been dubbed Leith Gateway! The original plan was for the tram to continue down Leith Walk to Leith and Newhaven. The trams seem very empty and are far less useful than the brilliant buses we have here. Even the airport bus is quicker and goes nearer to the terminal than the tram.

Earlier I was back at work for the first time since returning from Qatar on the day that all the Edinburgh Schools started the new academic year. This evening I had a training course to attend. All in all a busy but successful day.
