Derren, Thomas Land in Drayton Manor

Normally we would spend a day at Chester Zoo when in this part of the country. This year, since our children haven't stopped playing with the communal train set, we decided to check out Thomas Land in Drayton Manor. To be honest, our little boy wasn't that fussed about the rides. Once we bought "Stephen" he just wanted to head back to his house in Edinburgh to try it on his tracks. Which was just as well because I thought the queues were horrendous. Still, lots to see and do, even for wimps like me who are not into cardiac-inducing rollercoaster rides.

This is one of the entertainers working at Thomas Land. He was making the amazing bubbles just with a bit of roap and a bucket of soapy water. Very impressive.
