Taking delivery

The MV Scot Venture manoeuvering in the southern bay of Stornoway Harbour. To the left, out of sight of this shot, stands the Arnish Fabrication Yard. This unit of heavy industry makes components for the renewable energy industry (wind turbines, tidal and wave energy generators etc). It is a source of employment for Lewis, but not a reliable one - boom and bust comes to mind. Nonetheless, it is a good sign to see a boat taking delivery of some of Arnish's products.
