The Gall Tree
Earlyish morning walk with Ted in the woods near Coombe Hill. I obviously put my stupid head on this morning as I realised someway down a path that I was not on the path I thought I was. I wouldn't exactly call it lost as I know the woods very well but just a bit unsure, anyway I carried on and came to a familiar clearing and all was well!
This tree has had this gall (at least I assume that's what it is) for years, I don't remember it being any smaller or getting any bigger but it is a signpost when you've got your silly head on an are a little unsure of your whereabouts!
Feeling a bit frustrated as this should be my good week but I'm not bouncing back as much as I have previously.
Called into work today and updated my laptop and caught up with the news, which was not really news I wanted to hear, more uncertainty due to possible location moves and team moves. I was given a lovely bunch of flowers and it was good to see folk, although most of the faces have changed on my floor which felt a bit odd.
