back and forth in the rain

Today I worked at the Dr Pepper Museum...as I do every Thursday and Fridays this spring semester...and today it was terribly rainy. The thing is...I don't spend most of my time in the actual museum, I spend it across a courtyard in the "collections" building. On the sunny and warm days I enjoy the little jaunt over to the museum building. However...on days like today I think I whimper in my little coat as I trot across the courtyard in the puddles and heavy rain. I wanted to capture this so I tried to take some pictures of the buildings or of the gutters and none of them really captured the day...but thankfully I snapped a shot on accident as I was putting my i phone back in to my pocket....it is perfect. The swirling, the rain, everything. This was today.
