This is what Norfolk summer skies often look like : large and lumpy. Some of you expressed surprise at the unusual nature of my recent Cirrus blip. I used to try and paint them : utter defeat!!, I am often aware of the skies especially as I cycle around the city.

At here ( for those curious enough to look ) you can see what Wiki has to say about cloud formations.

Curiously, although in manual, the camera put itself into a fast shutter speed!!. Anything lower didn't register. Something else to learn.
