Wordsworth House garden

William Wordsworth was born in Cockermouth in 1770.

Ros volunteers in the garden every Thursday...

I did a guided audio tour of the house and garden today.

You can just about see Ros on the right hand side of the blip, wearing red.

The garden was washed away in the floods five years ago!

But it is an ill wind, because the garden has been recreated with fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers as they might have been in the 18thC.

The House and garden are well worth a visit...you can even get married there!

( Have you spotted the river to the rear of the garden? I don't think you can see Chloe swimming though! )
