Wet roof....
(Blip friend petespics in Guernsey will appreciate...)
This is a 1706 roof. Not the original covering? But people have looked out of this window through two Uprisings, the poet Burns, Napoleon, cholera outbreaks, Queen Vic, two world wars...
On a very quick (three in 24 hours) family and friends catch-up in Galloway. As you can see, it is pouring on the early eighteenth century place we are stopping the night. It looks unlikely to stop!
