Shin Pads

Hi Tom

I know you had a safe journey and you are now finally in your house. It was nice to have you FaceTime in the early hours ;) but hope it made the waiting for your flight a bit easier.

I went shopping for your shin pads today and you now have three pairs. I looked everywhere for the ones you told me to get. I even took the odd one with me and this was the best I could do. I'm sure one pair will suit. I like the Nike ones as they seem a little more solid than the others. I also bought you a new pair of ankle supports. Best you have a spare pair.

Well I can't say that my day has been full of adventure. I had coffee with Carol this morning then spent a good amount of time shopping. We had bad weather for a while, back to thunder and lightening and downpours.

The house is very quiet. It's my first day of being alone for some time. Not even the painter here. Really looking forward to dad being home tonight.
