The long wait

The trip home --- extended by 15 hours and as I write this - still waiting....
Last night after a flight delay had to spend the night in Chicago and wait for the next flights back to Alberta. Waiting outside forever for the hotel shuttle to arrive - many characters made this time much more interesting. This woman was super cool in her boots that had the toe pArt cut out. Today waiting in Denver I have seen so many serious cowboy hats, boots and jeAns pulled up high with big buckled belts. My bed at home will feel good tonight. I could have been to London and back by now. Always prepared for what the moment serves up.
