Thoughtful Small Things

I have spent way too much time on this image. My problem was not how to get the reflections of the flower but how to get a drip to stay on something!!!!! I tried bubble mix, Vaseline, Glycerine and almost giving super-glue a go. After trying for ages and ages - getting absolutely nowhere but determine to get something - I nipped outside (in the rain) and snipped off a rose branch. This seemed to keep its drips in place for a few nano seconds longer. This is a technique that I need to work at, but there has to be a way to get drips to stay put - any secrets I need to know???

This, I'm afraid, is my best effort!
