Las Brisas Beach

The private beach as Las Brisas while not the best for swimming - as is the case for most beaches in Ixtapa - makes for some spectacular wave photos. I had lots of chances to capture a wave breaking on shore, but it turned out to be surprisingly difficult to get a shot with which I was happy. The sun could not be too strong, my timing had to be precise, the wave had to cooperate, and the background clouds needed to be interesting. When all the elements came together, however, it turned out to be a shot worthy of a postcard. Look at in large for all the wonderful colors.
