Rain stopped play?
Firstly may I apologise. I was in the vets earlier with Gareth & Bale (my cats) and I was leaving sitting in front of me was my dog. I love Chow Chows (Google it) and they are so rare in this country that I just stood and started at it for about a minute (I probably looked creepy but no change there then) but they are stunning dogs. They are a Japanese (very expensive) lion dog and would be called Butler if I had one. Anyway... I tired, unsuccessfully, to take about 8 photos of Butler (who by the way had a very nasty gash on his side. Wouldn't have happened if he were my dog...) but I didn't want to get caught by his owners. 7 of them were too fuzzy and the other although was a nice picture of the dog, I'm pretty sure of anyway, got the owner sneezing in it so I deleted it before I got arrested. I hope Butler is ok as Gareth & Bale were making such a racket I had to get out of there (and before I was arrested). Apologies I didn't just ask for a snap.
Basically it rained - a lot - this afternoon. I love Lord's, not so much the members, but the iconic ground. A beautiful cricket ground. This fell at 17.30, turned our work car park into a lake, but such is the drainage at Lords two hours later were playing again. Incredible.
I miss Butler....
