Montaimont
Our cordon bleu trained hostess cooked us a wonderful meal last night and as a consequence we didn't get up too early because of slightly tender heads. So we loafed about a bit, read and chilled out while it was particularly wet outside.
During the afternoon I spotted a bit of blue sky and so we decided to pop out for a while. We drove up the other side of the valley and went to La Chambre for coffee and then up another wiggly road to Montaimont, a small village perched high above the valley.
This is the view looking towards les grands moulins on the west side of the Maurienne valley.
